One of my favourite materials is handmade glass, in particular lampwork beads, made by highly skilled (and very brave) people who melt rods of glass in a blowtorch to create little works of art. Here in the UK we are lucky to have lots of talented glass artists cooking up gorgeousness for us to work with. I've been enjoying the challenge of finding different ways to incorporate lampwork into my seed beading.Lots of my published designs have featured beads by UK makers, and three of those appeared on the covers of their respective magazines.
